Make Sweater from Your Design: Our OEM Process Step by Step
"All I have is a picture — can you make it?" Yes. Making a sweater from your design is the most common starting point of OEM cooperation, and the key is a transparent process with clear deliverables at every step. Here is our standard seven-step workflow.
Step 1: requirement confirmation (1-2 days). After receiving your sketch or reference garment, we fill the gaps — neckline, composition preference, weight, order size — with a structured checklist and output a craft summary both sides sign off.
Step 2: craft evaluation (1 day). The technician judges stitch feasibility, recommends gauge and yarn, and flags anything that affects cost or lead time.
Step 3: quotation (1 day). You receive sampling cost and bulk unit price based on the confirmed plan, with yarn quantities and pricing conditions spelled out — no hidden fees.
Step 4: sampling (5 days). First sample produced entirely in our own workshops, shipped with a size chart and yarn composition card.

Step 5: approval. You wear-test fit and hand-feel; revisions ship in 3-5 days, typically 1-2 rounds to finalize.
Step 6: bulk production (14 days). Production follows the frozen tech pack with first-article confirmation and in-line inspection; third-party mid-term inspection is welcome.
Step 7: final inspection and shipping. Needle detection on the full batch, measurement and appearance checks by sampling, then hangtags, packing and logistics arranged to your requirements.
The full journey typically takes 4-5 weeks. Ready to make a sweater from your design? Send us the picture — step one starts today.
